God is in control whether we believe it or not. Peace comes when we accept that and become pliable in His hands as He weaves. He loves me, he loves us…ALL of us! Fat, skinny, short, tall, black, white, gay, straight, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Athiest, conservative, liberal…doesn’t matter! His love is PERFECT. Even when we don’t understand, He is still weaving us together in this magnificent tapestry with love. People have questioned the goodness of God, even the existence of God, throughout the ages because of the unspeakable tragedy of this world. I have to believe that God understands that we are limited in our ability to see the whole picture and has compassion for this doubt and questioning. I have spent many years of my life questioning too, and yet He continued to pursue me. God has touched my life in such a tangible way in the last few years, even through tragedy, that the only response I can give is to submit to His authority. And now that I have seen just a little glimpse of His true love for us, it’s impossible NOT to fall on my knees in awe.
