I lose my car keys all the time. For years my husband would say, ” If you always put them in the same place, you’ll always know where they are.” But he didn’t understand, I can never remember where the “same place” is either! It used to drive me crazy that I drove him crazy with this. But really, car keys are pretty much a necessity these days if you’re going somewhere, and losing them can make you late getting to the somewhere you’re going. (Did you follow that? Sounded good to me when I wrote it, but it’s early and I haven’t had my second cup of coffee yet. Speaking of coffee, I’ve got to go to the grocery store this morning after I drop my son off at school. I really hate going to the grocery store!)
